Welcome League of S.T.E.A.M.!

We’re happy to announce that The League of S.T.E.A.M. (You know, the Victorian Ghostbusters from the Panic! at the Disco video…) will be joining the already stellar lineup of steam-driven entertainment for our Saturday night shin-dig and we couldn’t be more excited. Doors (and Bar!) will be open by 7:00pm…

Here’s the redone poster:

Veronique Chevalier

Nova Albion and An Airship Home Companion

are pleased to bring you

Veronique Chevalier – Cabaret’s “Weird Val”!

.

A Steamy Chanteuse, and Spooky Polkanista, Veronique has been described as a campy incarnation of Edith Piaf from a parallel universe – the one in which her parents are Jim Morrison, and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and her godparents are Lucille Ball and Weird Al. She originated the genre of “Gothic Polka”, and received The Unanimous Choice Award for Best Independent Cabaret Artist by the Los Angeles Music Awards.

In addition to performing at Saturday night’s Airship Home Companion, Veronique will also be featured in our Steam After Dark programming track. She is a veteran presenter of her own series of 21st Century Vaudeville Shows (Veronique’s Red Velvet), as well as Club Chrononaut in San Diego, and has performed at Mr. Bodewell’s Cabaret, the Steampunk World’s Fair, and many other, as she would say, eSTEAMed gatherings and venues! Veronique is also executive producer of the “odditorally acclaimed” Polka Haunt Us: A Spook-tacular Compilation.

You can sample some of Mlle Chevalier’s fine talent on ReverbNation.
