An Exhibition is only as good as its STUFF. That’s my opinion, anyway, and I’m sticking to it. (2010 Vendor Hall Photos by Gar Travis)…
We are 8 months out from the next Nova Albion, and already we have had an amazing response to our vendor call! So I wanted to share with you some of the wonderful merchants who will be joining us in 2011, to tantalize and tempt you!
Extraordinarily, our merchants are all Makers, Crafters, Artisans… real folks who spend their days following their passions and making and gathering beautiful things that we can’t wait to see, hold and try out.
In order to help support them, we encourage you to check them out – and by all means, buy stuff! Most of our vendors do have locations in the aether where one may peruse and purchase all manner of wonders… Support the Arts! Support DIY! Support your Steampunk Community!
You can see a list of our 2011 Merchants HERE… more are being added every day it seems, so do check back, too!
I popped over to the site real quick to double-check that I had the full title of the convention correct. I was surprised to see that it looked different from the last time I checked (good luck with the re-building), but what I really wasn’t expecting was to see a photo of me on the front page! If I’d known I was going to be photographed I should have sat in a position that better displayed my awesome tailcoat. The book I was reading, by the way, is The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi.
Ah, there is much to be said for awesome tailcoats… and good books! Mark just finished that one and has been talking it up… sounds like that might have to be my next read!
could someone get back to me about BECOMING a vendor at the exhibition, please? wooden hair adornments with lockets, watches etc, and knitted gloves hats scarves… A Dickens fair Vendor also…
Hi Morgan,
Unfortunately both our Vendor Halls and our Waiting List are full for 2011. We would be happy to review your wares for Nova Albion in 2012 if you have an interest! Please send an email to: vendors@steampunkexhibition.com and we can add you to our Vendor Request List for the next Exhibition.
Thank you for the inquiry,
Ariane Wolfe
